It’s Autumn! | St. Louis Family Photographer

Well, it’s officially Autumn! The M family had their customized portrait session last night and the beautiful colors of Fall made a beautiful backdrop for them! I’ve been photographing lil’ X since he was a newborn {he was a member of the Baby’s First Year Program} and it was amazing to see how much he’s changed since January. The last time I saw him he was just turning one years old and wasn’t walking quite yet. A couple of steps here and there, but he was not the runner like he is now! It was pure joy to capture the M family! They are full of love and have such a great time together. We got some amazing images and I can’t wait to show the rest! Football, reading, cuddle time, tickle fights and strolls around the park! GORGEOUS! Enjoy the sneak peek.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.
