I just adore heirloom portraits! This little man’s sister came to me when she was around one for her first heirloom portraits and now it is his time for the tradition. He wore the most adorable outfit with classic details in baby blue. Mom was worried that it was a bit too small since he had grown from the time she purchased the outfit at The Elephant Trunk here in Athens. Luckily, it fit and we got some adorable heirloom portraits of this young Southern man.
When doing heirloom portraits with Yvonne Niemann Photography, you will get a variety of images. Not only will you get the classic bust shots, but you will also get full body and some detail images as well. Depending on age, we can also get standing, sitting, or crawling images. Think of it as a milestone and heirloom portrait session!
Mom brought a rocking chair that is a family heirloom as well as rattle. Love it when parents use sentimental items for their children’s portraits. Really adds that much more to the finished artwork.
Silhouettes are also something that you will receive when doing heirloom portrait with me. For little girls with longer hair, at the end of the session, we will put hair into a ponytail. For those with shorter hair, we just let the hair be and show off its character. Love this little man’s curls. ADORABLE!!!!!
