I recently got this framed portrait in of my daughter delivered to me and I swoon over it every time I see it. It literally stops me in my tracks and I catch myself staring at it with a smile on my face. I cannot believe that is my beautiful girl who has grown up so fast – as if in a blink of an eye. I absolutely adore this portrait of my tween girl. It is exactly who she is at this moment of time – playful, dreamer, inquisitive, kind, creative and independent. Although she does laugh A LOT and I certainly got a lot of those type of images, I am so drawn to this particular photo of her. It’s as if I can see into her soul.
I had the 16×20 photographic art piece printed on fine art paper and mounted for stability. I chose this frame as I knew it would work nicely with the image and in this little eating nook. I like that there is no glass as it shows off the beauty of the paper that it is printed on. These handmade wooden frames are one of my favorites as they are timeless and simple, yet have visual interest as it draws the eyes straight to the artwork.
