This lil’ man was celebrating his first birthday with a big party that very next day and I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph him with his family to document this special time in their lives. Such big milestones accomplished within those first twelve months of life; neck strength, first teeth, sitting, crawling, standing unassisted, smiles, solid foods, just to name a few. Lifestyle photography is a wonderful way to show the connections and relationships between family members in your very own comfortable settings. This family chose this style of photography for their session to take place at their home. We mixed it up with outdoor images and portraits of them on their bed in the parents’ room as this is somewhere that they cuddle up to each other quite often. Quite fitting! Such an honor to photograph this birthday boy when he was still in the womb during their maternity photography session, during his newborn session and now to celebrate his first birthday.
