This beautiful mom is glowing in the pregnancy of her second son. Her family’s Fall maternity pictures were taken the day before she gave birth! So glad that we were able to get her portraits done in time before their sweet newborn arrived.

This maternity photo session was super special to me as the very first time I had photographed them, they were expecting their first child. I have been photographing them ever since and it is such an honor to be welcomed back through the years for important milestones in their family and children’s lives.

Big brother adores his baby brother in his mom’s belly and even though he was more interested in running and exploring the surrounding area, he always came running back to his mom and parents for some cuddly photos. Gotta love that! His parents absolutely adore each other and their sons and I know that their adventures are just beginning. Congrats F family! I couldn’t be happier for the FOUR of you!!!!

It is best to do your maternity photos around the beginning or middle of your third trimester when you can show off your new baby curves, but are still comfortable. This is my sweet baby girl. She is obviously not a baby anymore, but rather a beautiful young lady, but she will ALWAYS be MY baby. I am sure all parents can relate.

Lily is why I do what I do. Before I got pregnant, I was a video producer with some crazy hours. When I found out I was expecting, my husband and I looked into childcare options, but weren`t having much luck finding what we needed. My heart was telling me to be with my daughter. I didn`t want to miss out on anything. My plan was to freelance, but the hours honestly weren`t much different, so I decided to stay home with my baby girl.

I had always done photography on the side. Early on, I did photo journalism, but then switched over to doing it as a hobby once I started my career in video. I worked for a photographer for a short time in college who had her studio in her home and always thought that would be perfect for when I had my own family. So, that is exactly what I set my mind to once I made the decision to quit the video world. As a mom, it would allow me to set my own goals, hours and run things the way I wanted.

Owning my own business has been such a blessing! I get to be there for my daughter and family while feeding into my passion for photography. It gives me such freedom and makes my heart sing with every session I do. Love documenting important moments for my clients throughout their journey of life. Such an honor and something that I don`t take lightly.

Thank you Lily for leading me down this path and allowing me to do what I am truly passionate about. Getting pregnant with you was the push I needed to make my dreams a reality.

You know when people say that if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life? I can attest that is very true. It is what I hope for my daughter and all of you!
