Fall Children’s Athens GA Photographer

Last night I was able to photograph this beauty in my wooded outdoor studio after the rain. As a Athens, GA photographer, Fall is a busy time, but one that I just adore. It is always great to catch up with clients again and meet new ones too.

Last year, I photographed this young lady’s older sister for similar portraits. It amazed me how much they look alike. They both wore the same dress, which is a family heirloom passed down by their mother who wore this piece when she was their age. I love it when sentimental items are used for children’s portraits. Makes my heart so happy.

We started the session inside for some studio portraits. We recreated an image that we did last year with big sister, which was a recreation of a portrait of their mom as a child. When we finished with the studio work, we headed outdoors since the rain had stopped and the sun had not set quite yet. Luckily, the woods to the side and behind my place makes for a wonderful natural backdrop. Isn’t she just a cutie?! Her smile is just infectious. Adorable!

Since my daughter is in college and she already had her spring break, we are looking forward to having her home for Easter and celebrating the holiday with friends.
