Yesterday I photographed this little southern belle for her newborn portraits at her family’s home in Bishop, GA. She was a mere eleven days old and is full of personality already. She becomes quite alert when she hears her daddy’s voice, which I heard made quite the impact on everyone right after she was born at the hospital. Her parents had a few special family heirlooms and sentimental items that we incorporated within Miss T’s photo session. The quilt shown above was the mom’s blanket from when she was a baby. Her godmother made it just for her and now it is being used for this lil’ southern lady. The bloomers were specially made with T’s monogram and matches a delicate dress fit for a princess. It is always great to take a few images using carefully selected keepsakes. Makes the final portraits that much more meaningful.
