Elegant Maternity Photography

This elegant lady is glowing from within as she nears the end of her pregnancy. Isn’t she just beautiful?! I ADORE her dress that she picked for her maternity photography session. It’s such a classic look and shows off her baby bump gracefully. Perfect example of what to wear for pregnancy portraits! It was such an honor to photograph this special time for this wonderful family. I can’t believe almost two years ago, I was just meeting them for the first time as I photographed their first daughter for her infant portraits. This family is so loving and fun to be around. Towards the beginning of their session, thunder sounded around us and a downpour began. Luckily, we were able to take cover for a little bit as we waited for the rain to subside. Once the weather cleared up, we just picked up where we left off and were able to get some beautiful maternity and family portraits. Their youngest daughter didn’t care for the wet grass, but she enjoyed being help by her parents and she even gave her baby sister in her mommy’s belly some hugs and kisses towards the end of the session. After their portraits, she was happy to get to play at the playground nearby! Well deserved activity after all her patience during their photo session. Congrats M family!

What a joy it is to photograph families through the years! I`ve been photographing this sweet family since their children were just little tots, and it`s such an honor to document all the milestones and seasons of life along the way.

We met in a beautiful field on their property in Weldon Spring during my recent St. Louis visit. Their four-legged family members joined in the fun, too! A little patience paid off, and we even managed to get both pups looking at the camera at the same time. Such good dogs!

Feeling so grateful for families who continue to trust me with their memories year after year. 🤍

New puppy alert. Wrigley is the most precious new addition to the sweetest family!!!!! Already a good listener and learning how to sit and stay, which is sooooo hard for any pup who has all the energy in the world and just wants to goooooooooooo!

During this session, I asked Dad to tell his son what he was most proud of him for. What followed was this beautiful, tender moment between father and son. No posing. No forced smiles. Just genuine love and connection.

These are the moments I love capturing most. The ones that mean even more as the years go by.

You follow the rules and take portraits in the park and then at the end, you get a few images in the parking lot. The light was gorgeous coming through the trees here and their pup seemed to be so happy to be included!

Now, there are a lot of locations that allow pets, but if your heart is set on a place where they are not permitted, we can always find an option either at the beginning or the end of the session where we can document your important family member too!

You follow the rules and take portraits in the park and then at the end, you get a few images in the parking lot.
