Spring fields of flowers are all around us in Georgia right now and this purple field made for the perfect backdrop for this child photography session right outside Athens. It was a warm evening and the glow from the sun setting was a beautiful addition for this Southern lady’s portraits. Miss A had a wonderful time collecting flowers, searching for deer tracks, cuddling with mom and enjoying nature.
Her mom did a great job selecting her daughter’s dress and purple bow that complemented the location beautifully. I love the texture the dress has from the ruffles, which adds dimension and interest, but is subtle enough so as to not distract. Even though the location is pretty, the focus is still on the subjects, which was the goal! Great example for what to wear for child photography sessions.
