This lil’ lady is such a beauty! She came in today for her newborn portraits at my studio in Oconee County, GA. She allowed us to get some stunning images of her this morning while she slept as well as during some wakeful times.
The image above was the very last shot of her session and it was very well worth the wait. She was restful and calm, which gave us the opportunity to make this fine art photographic piece for her family safely. Her mom stayed within inches of her baby girl just in case she jolted or needed a soothing hand.
I love incorporating beautiful foliage and flowers in photography and I thought some pretty garland would make a nice addition to this Southern gal’s portraits since we were mainly staying inside due to the heat of summer. I handcrafted the arrangement with this lil’ beauty’s room in mind and the family’s style. This will make a timeless piece of art for this family to enjoy for years to come, while making a wonderful heirloom to be passed down through the generations too. Very fitting for a classic beauty.
