This morning I photographed this beautiful mom-to-be in Athens, GA at the UGA campus for her summer pregnancy portraits. The University of Georgia is a big part of this couple’s lives and so it was fitting to use it for their backdrop. We headed out around sunset to take advantage of the cooler temperatures and beautiful light. they were troopers for getting up so early, but it was totally worth it so that this glowing lady could be comfortable. The stunning crepe myrtle trees are in full bloom in the south and I when I saw this tree, I knew it would work perfectly for some portraits. The pretty blooms works well with the feminine dress (which is a great example of what to wear for pregnancy portraits) and gives a nod to the baby girl that will be entering the world next month. Can’t wait to meet the little lady in a few weeks!
