One of my favorite things about being a baby photographer is documenting the important milestones in a child’s life. This little beauty just celebrated a very important milestone – her baptism! She is wearing her baptism dress, which was also her mommy’s gown from her very own baptism as a baby. I just adore family heirlooms and it makes me so happy when families use them in portrait sessions with me. They make their treasured photos that much more meaningful.
This field of purple flowers blooms twice a year, once in the Spring and then at the end of Summer. I honestly was surprised that the flowers are still in bloom as they have been there for over a month now and they still have a ton of life in them. So glad that they stuck it out for this seven month old’s portraits. Isn’t it just the perfect setting for her style? The light is perfect here at sunset, which gives a beautiful glow and a sparkle in her eyes. I cannot get over her big blue eyes, that adorable smile and her perfect Gerber Baby face. She is just like a little doll. Not a surprise at all if you were to see the rest of her family. Cannot wait to share the rest from this portrait session. So many great images capturing this Southern lady’s seven month milestone.
