This little girl’s tea party session was delayed and moved a couple times due to rain, but it was well worth the wait and schedule changes! We were super lucky to get her portraits taken yesterday as it was raining hard and we had rescheduled for next week. Suddenly the sun made an appearance and we saw a window of opportunity before the next rain storm started, so we decided to give it a go and I quickly got this opulent tea party all set up for her. We timed things perfectly! The ground was still wet and the trees were glistening from the rain, but I thanks to the moss and pine straw in this area, it really wasn’t bad at all.
When this little two year old arrived, she was super excited to have a tea party with her stuffed hippo. She could not wait to head down to her special set-up and start the fun. We got some amazing images of her having fun. She has such a neat personality. Super sweet and so happy! Always a joy photographing her. After her tea party, she got to explore in the wooded trail, which resulted in some super cute images of her and her mom. Shortly after that, her dad arrived after work for family portraits. Just as we were about to begin, it started to rain again, but we shot through it before it came down too heavy. Luckily we got everything we needed, and more, before being forced to quit.
