Expecting

That quote rings true on so many levels and creating life is certainly just one of those moments that Drummond is referring to. This couple was SO excited to meet their lil’ boy and the love within them for their unborn child gave both parents-to-be a beautiful glow. It is always an honor to photograph the joy of pregnancy. It’s such a magical and special time – quite romantic too. The evening of this couple’s maternity portrait session was quite windy, but I think it aided in some beautiful images with hair blowing in the breeze and movement in this mom-to-be’s dress. Isn’t she stunning?!

What do you do when you want your furry family member in at least one family picture, but the location does not allow pets? You follow the rules and take portraits in the park and then at the end, you get a few images in the parking lot. The light was gorgeous coming through the trees here and their pup seemed to be so happy to be included!

Now, there are a lot of locations that allow pets, but if your heart is set on a place where they are not permitted, we can always find an option either at the beginning or the end of the session where we can document your important family member too!

Mom always does such a great job dressing her family and last night was no exception. One little sentimental touch - little brother is wearing the same sweater his big brother wore at their last photo session. Love how he fits into now and how it all comes full circle!

Fall in Athens can be absolutely magical!

These sweet sisters had the prettiest November portrait session at Founder`s Garden on UGA`s campus. The vibrant fall foliage was the perfect backdrop, while their soft pinks, delicate florals and cozy layers complemented the scenery beautifully.

Late October and early November are some of my favorite times for fall family photos in Athens, GA. Gorgeous colors, comfortable temperatures and beautiful memories to treasure for years to come.
