St. Louis Family Portrait Photographer | Family of Five!

When this family showed up for their portrait session yesterday, the first thing I noticed was their cuteness and their wardrobe. I love the color combination mom chose for everyone – works so well together. I can tell there was a lot of thought behind their styling and it really paid off. This family is in town for a family reunion and they took a break for some family portraits. They are so cute together. I love how they interact together. You can really tell that this family has fun! Big brother is is training to be a Ninja, little brother loves to climb and is excited to start Pre School, and their lil’ sister loves princesses – she even has red lips like Snow White! Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
