This family’s portrait session, in Augusta, MO, was so much fun. The apple orchard made for a perfect backdrop for this family of six. Not only did the kiddos get to pick apples, but they found a frog to play with as well. Since their mommy is a photographer, I brought along some of my vintage cameras for everyone to play with. Super sweet. I wish I had film in those cameras, as I would love to see what they would have captured. So happy that I was able to get so many images of everyone smiling and looking at the camera. Not always the easiest thing to do with six people, but I have a few tricks up my sleeve for such a task. I love the interaction between everyone in this family. You can really tell that they enjoy their time together and truly love each other. Don’t you just love the outfits they chose for their session?Perfect for an early Fall photography session! This sweet girl adores her beloved horse and says he is “the most gentle, loving horse” she has ever known. Watching the two of them together was pure magic. The quiet connection, trust, and love between them is something worth documenting and cherishing for generations.
