Such a beautiful evening for this Fall family photoshoot in St. Louis.  Sun was in full force and the colors were vibrant! Perfect backdrop for portraits.

I have been photographing this family since the eldest son was still in his mom’s belly for their maternity photo session. Always an honor to document this family’s journey through life. Brothers absolutely adore each other and their parents. It really shows in how they interact together. They are so relaxed and know how to go with the flow. These parents make the everyday moments special and fun! They play hard and love hard!!! Truly an amazing thing to witness.

Mom always does such a great job dressing her family for their portraits. For this year’s Fall family photoshoot she picked a color palette that works so well with the fall colors. Simple, classic pieces that will never go out of style. Great example of what to wear for portraits this Season!

When planning portrait sessions, I always encourage families to include the animals that hold such a special place in their hearts. They are part of your story too.

This sweet girl adores her beloved horse and says he is “the most gentle, loving horse” she has ever known. Watching the two of them together was pure magic. The quiet connection, trust, and love between them is something worth documenting and cherishing for generations.

When I asked this little girl where her favorite spots are on her home property, she mentioned the peonies out front. They were in full bloom and her little hands couldn’t resist them as she showed me some of her most beloved flowers.
