It has been nine years since I first photographed this family when their first daughter was born! Always a joy and honor to document their milestones.
This year’s family photo session took place at a park near their house in St. Louis. So happy to have sunshine! Warmed the soul, made the tall wheat colored grass shimmer and added to the overall portraits that evening.
This family is stunning inside and out! Love how they play and love hard!!! I could not get over how much the girls have grown in just the past year. They were both working the camera the other night during their family photo session. Cannot wait to share more of those. Both girls are also very cuddly with their parents and have such a great sense of humor as well. Love to see them laugh even when they tip over from tickle fights. They just go with the flow and have a good time together.
Love their outfits and how they coordinate so well together. Perfect for this natural setting. We usually do a more manicured park or location, but decided to switch things up a bit this year. I think it worked out really nicely. Not only do their wardrobe complement each other, but also the tall wheat colored grass that is so pretty this time of year. Great example of what to wear for a Fall family photo session this year!
