Spring Cherry Blossoms

Love the cherry blossoms that I see during this time of year! Their pretty pastel pink flowers make me SO happy. It’s as if Mother Nature is wrapping her arms around me with delicate love. Completely warms my soul. We had a lot of cherry trees in St. Louis, but nothing like here in Georgia. They just seem to be everywhere; even in the woods that I hike frequently. We planted two different cherry tree varieties in our yard this past Fall and I am anxiously awaiting to see their first delicate blossoms. I look forward to seeing them grow and I know they will give us much happiness throughout the years. Being surrounded by beautiful things brings me so much comfort!

Spring is officially here and Easter is just a few days away. How are you celebrating? Are you heading out of town for spring break, staying put, planning fun activities within short driving distance, or perhaps a combination of all the above?

Since my daughter is in college and she already had her spring break, we are looking forward to having her home for Easter and celebrating the holiday with friends.

So happy to have flowers around us once again and green on the trees. Just in time for the upcoming weekend.
