Senior Portrait Photography of Oconee High School student taken in Athens, GA.

Last night I photographed this beautiful senior girl who is heading into her final year at Oconee County High School. The campus of UGA served as our backdrop for her senior portrait photography session. We really lucked out with weather. The temperature was quite mild for the end of June, the humidity was was lower than normal, and the sun coming through the trees added a magical dimension to her photos. Perfect!

Miss C brought a few outfits to change up some looks for her portraits. This white dress really complemented her squinting as well as this area of the garden pictured above. So fitting for a romantic setting. Great example of what to wear for a senior portrait photography session. Her makeup and hair was flawless, which is no surprise since she wants to study cosmetic dermatology and is quite talented in doing hair and makeup for her sisters and friends.

This Southern beauty is very involved with sports at school with cheerleading and track. She is such a great role model. Takes her education seriously, is a great sister, friend and daughter with impeccable manners. Her parents have done a great job raising this young lady and I know it will take her far in life. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for her.

When I asked this little girl where her favorite spots are on her home property, she mentioned the peonies out front. They were in full bloom and her little hands couldn’t resist them as she showed me some of her most beloved flowers.

At sessions, I always encourage incorporating the things your children love most into your portraits. These details may feel small now, but they become part of their story - their season, their wonder, their childhood. The result? Images that feel personal, meaningful, and timeless.

Our sweet Bella girl is growing up so beautifully. The last time I introduced her here, she was still such a tiny puppy. Now, at a little over a year old, she is still very much our baby, just a bit bigger. Her "feathers” have come in and her hair has grown beautifully. Bella is the most cuddly, playful, loving dog, and she has completely stolen our hearts. Love her to pieces.
