Savannah in the Spring

Forsyth Park Savannah, GA in the Spring.

I had a four day weekend in Savannah for my daughter’s gymnastics meet. Since her competition was done Friday morning, we got to spend a few days afterwards enjoying the town and surrounding area. I had only been in this beautiful town in the Summer over the past couple of years, so it was a special treat to witness it in full bloom in early Spring! Of course, I took many pictures, but decided to share just this one of Forsyth Park. It is one of my favorite areas and the pop of color from the flowers made this scene extra special. Everyone knows that I am a sucker for a tunnel of trees and the live oaks with Spanish moss is a romantic’s dream! So happy to have spent quality family time in Savannah and can’t wait to go back.

Love this area of the historic district of Jekyll Island. Pretty walkways, roads, buildings, trees and scenery. It is like taking a step back in time in many ways. I have been photographing my daughter in this exact location for the last few summers and it never disappoints.
