Yesterday I spent some time with a family at their home for a lifestyle photo session. These lil’ ones are so sweet and supper cuddly with each other, but they are also independent and spend a lot of time in their rooms. Mom wanted some images of the kiddos in their room and I let them take charge and let them guide me a bit. So fun!
I got images of little sister in her beautiful room coloring at her brand new desk and playing with her dolls. She is SUCH a great mommy to her dolls. She fed them, read books, snuggled with them and put them to bed. She wanted a “family” portrait of her with her babies, which I was more than happy to do. I’ll have to share that image soon. She looks so proud holding her babies and smiling for the camera. When we got the more formal portrait done, I asked her to kiss her babies and let them know how much she loved them and this was the result. Such a sweet image.
For big brother, I went to his room and he was playing with some super hero lego type of toys. He was assembling them and explained how they worked. He then wanted some pictures of him on his bed reading as that is something he does a lot. He also wanted to model in all of his chairs. This awesome leather chair is one that he said that he doesn’t sit in a lot, but would like to. I told him that we should certainly get a portrait of him in that chair then. He approved.
We got a lot of great family photos too. Such a fun family! Cannot wait to share the rest. In the meantime, enjoy the sneak peek!
