Oconee High School Senior Pictures

I love taking high school senior pictures. Such a big milestone for both the graduate, but also the parents. This beautiful young lady chose to have her senior photos taken on UGA’s campus as it was super fitting for her personality. She didn’t want anything to scream UGA though since she isn’t going to college there, so we stayed clear of areas and backgrounds that were tell-tale signs of Bulldog territory.

We had beautiful light for her sunset session. Such pretty backlighting. I love how her hair blew in the soft breeze that we created. It was a necessity to cool her off on this hot Summer evening, but also to give her hair that added movement that all of gals love and adore.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!

Sand between my toes, sounds of waves crashing, smell of salt water, ocean breeze, beach hair, birds diving down for their meal and laughter/squeals from beachgoers.
