Oconee County High School is about a month away from their Spring Break! With that comes a lot of beach vacations. One popular spot is 30A. This young lady did her senior portraits at Alys Beach last year during her Spring Break. Such a great place for her graduation photos – especially because 30A holds a special place in her heart. She has been vacationing here since she was a baby. Sort of her second home, so it made sense that she would want her senior portrait taken here.
The architecture is just beautiful at Alys Beach. Great place for portraits with such variety in a small area. We did her portraits in the late morning, which worked out great since we buildings shielded us from the harsh sun and then natural reflectors gave us clean, beautiful light.
She chose this dress for this particular location to complement the buildings and give it a beauty feel. Her mom bought her the beautiful pearl necklace at one of the many boutique stores a couple days before. Being just a short distance from the beach made all the difference in the wind and humidity. This was great for her hair, which did not hold its curl as she had hoped for her beach photos.
