As a newborn photographer, I got to photograph this beautiful baby boy at his home in Athens, GA this morning. Isn’t he just delightful? He is welcomed into the world by a very loving family, which includes a proud big sister!
We started their newborn portrait session with family portraits in the parents’ bedroom and then we moved upstairs where the light was just perfection for the rest of the images. It worked out great! This lil’ man is super laid back and gave us plenty of wide eyed shots as well as those sweet sleepy shots that all parents love. His mom had some super sweet traditional infant outfits that are very fitting for a Southern gentleman of his age and I am sure will now be family heirlooms. She also picked out an adorable swaddle complete with a blue bow. This image shown here is a simple swaddle that I brought with me that we used for the last few images of his session. It’s always nice to have a bit of variety and we were able to get just that for their cherished newborn photos. Cannot wait to share more. I chose this image for the sneak peek as it really tugged at my heart the way mom’s hands are their protecting and soothing her baby boy. So much emotion can be shown through hands like this. It is the story of a mom’s love.
