Morning Hike in Bishop, GA

October 27, 2014

I love starting my day taking a morning hike. It’s a great time for me to reflect, think of the day ahead, take in big breaths of fresh air and enjoy all the beauty provided by Mother Nature. I’m fortunate to have hiking trails literally out my back door, which I am thankful for each and every day. This morning, I grabbed my camera as I headed out the door with my dog and set out to explore and document some of my daily views that constantly make my heart sing. Enjoy and have a wonderful day!

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
