Lifestyle Newborn Portraits in Athens, GA

November 18, 2014

This family holds a special place in my heart. I first photographed them for their romantic maternity portraits and then again when their sweet baby girl was born for their newborn photo session. The parents are so loving towards each other and their baby. Such patience, comfort and adoration in this family! Their little girl was such a joy to photograph and although she had her fussy moments, we got some sweet peaceful portraits. She was very alert for a newborn and I absolutely adore her wide open eyes as she takes in her surroundings. Isn’t she just the sweetest thing? Her parents live in a loft in the city and since they live on one of the top floors, they had the most amazing natural light coming through their large windows. We made sure to get images of them as a family on their bed as we had taken many pregnancy portraits there as well. Pretty neat how things come full circle. I couldn’t be happier for this family of three! May you have many happy memorable days in your lives ahead full of adventure and love!
