Fun Family Portraits in St. Louis On-Location

Early summer is so pretty in St. Louis and makes for beautiful backdrops for family portraits! This family was just too adorable and fun to photograph. I adore this lil’ princess’ curls! I’m sure she gets away with all kinds of things with those ringlets! Mom had told me that they love the outdoors and spending time playing outside as a family, so when I came across this location, I knew that it was the perfect fit! Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
