Fresh Georgia Peaches

pictures of just picked Georgia peaches.

There is nothing like freshly picked Georgia peaches. I stop for these ripe beauties at least once a week while they are in season at either the orchard close to me or at one of the main roadside vendors in the area. Yesterday, I visited Thomas Orchards and Nursery down the road from my house and bought a small basket of fruit to last me a few days. When I got them home, I decided to photograph their beauty. Enjoy!

I enjoy eating fresh peaches alone, cut up and served with cream, in homemade ice-cream, as a pie or as a Bellini. All simple recipes, perfect for any day of the Summer. Try out a Bellini today. Recipe below.

Bellini

2 ripe peaches, peeled and diced

1 bottle very cold Presecco

*  Process the peach pulp to form a puree. Pass through a sieve. In flute, add 1 part puree and 2 parts Prosecco. Serve immediately.

One of the joys of my job as a family photographer is watching little ones grow through the lens of my camera over the years. What an amazing thing life is and I get to document it through the ages. From those early moments in mom`s belly all the way through the golden years.

Many of my first clients are now graduated from college, married, and in the workforce. What a surreal thing to think of them in their parents` arms/hands and now flying free making their dreams come alive on their own.

Love witnessing grandparents with their families or just being together, alone, celebrating big milestone anniversaries and their love.
