Over this past weekend, I took family pictures of these beautiful four in the city. It was a the perfect location for this particular family as they practically live across the street, so it is a place they frequent together. It worked out really well due to weather conditions too though. It had rained over night and stopped about an hour before their family pictures were to begin, so the ground was a bit wet still. It was also chilly and windy, but you wouldn’t know it when under this walkway as it blocked the elements. It really worked out well – especially for a family with little ones.
I have been photographing this family since their first son was still in mommy’s tummy for their maternity portraits. It is always a pleasure and honor to be invited back year after year to document their family. The boys are so cute together and baby brother really looks up to his big brother, but he also likes to lend a helping hand too. Towards the end of the their family pictures, the kiddos were in a red wagon being pulled by their parents and the littlest of the family decided he would rather get out and help push his big brother in the wagon. SO cute and sweet. My heart just melted when his big brother kept saying thank you to his little brother for helping. Parents must be doing something right!
Mom did a great job selecting their wardrobe. Love the color palette with the subtle pop of red. Cream, gray, blue and red is always a classic combination. All of my clients do such a wonderful job coordinating their outfits for their portrait sessions. This is another great example of what to wear for family pictures in the Fall or Winter.
