I love these beautiful family pictures that I took in the Fall. I searched hard for the perfect location that exuded the wonder of Mother Nature during that time of year. When I came across this area, I just knew it was the spot for this family of four! Lots of vibrant colors and variety in such a small area. Lots of places for the kiddos to explore and to change things up when their attention needed some shifting. This family loves the outdoors, which made a place like this the perfect fit where everyone felt comfortable and at ease. They could play, cuddle and love on each other surrounded by the beauty of their surroundings.
I love how these four interact with each other. Lots of playfulness and laughter. What memories they are creating together! Big brother really looks after his little sister and it is apparent that they generally enjoy their time together and adore each other. Mom and dad are madly in love with each other and their children, which is obvious not only in person, but in pictures too.
Mom did such a great job picking out their wardrobe. I love how the purple complements the rich Autumn colors and of course, navy and gray are such classics – especially this time of year. Notice how mom brought in the purple of her son’s shirt with her belt and how dad’s sweater matches his daughter’s dress? Great way to coordinate without being too matchy matchy or looking like a uniform. Everyone looks polished, but relaxed and comfortable. Perfect example of what to wear for fall family portraits.
