This lil’ man is dear to my heart since I had photographed him since he was first born. He is so full of life and loved playing with all the toys out in this field during his fall portrait session. It was a cold, windy morning, but he was a trooper and didn’t allow it to slow him down! Enjoy the joy of childhood!
Sibling images are such an important part of a newborn session. They preserve the very beginning of a lifelong relationship—the wonder, curiosity and tenderness of welcoming a new baby into the family.
Toddlers do not always understand posing, so sometimes we turn it into a game. For this image, I tucked a little surprise near baby brother, encouraging his big sister to lean in and look closely. The result is a beautifully natural moment that feels connected, timeless and entirely her.
