Professional portraits of two sisters playing their violins taken by Athens GA kids photographer, Yvonne Niemann Photography.

Had the pleasure of photographing these beautiful girls this past Saturday morning. As a kids photographer it is always great to capture the talents of children. Hobbies play such a big role in people’s lives and I believe should be documented and cherished. These girls’ mom wanted photographic images of these sisters playing their violins, which they have been working on for quite a few years now. I remember when they first began and it was an honor to create these images and get a mini concert at the same time. It was the first time I got to hear them play their violins and I was quite impressed. Such talented young ladies with huge hearts. They are going to go far in life no matter what they decide to do.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!

Sand between my toes, sounds of waves crashing, smell of salt water, ocean breeze, beach hair, birds diving down for their meal and laughter/squeals from beachgoers.
