I had the pleasure to photograph these brothers on Saturday morning during their family’s portrait session in Athens, GA.

Such a handsome and stylish family. They did such a great job with their outfits. Perfect example of how to coordinate while showing off your individuality. These boys are always fashionable, just like their parents, so it isn’t a surprise at all.

We picked this location because they had wanted images on the shoals and this particular park is one that they frequent and have fond memories of their time here. It is great to have portraits taken at a place that has meaning. Makes final images that much more meaningful.

I have to say, these boys are very impressive. Each one of them is so kind and courteous. They adore their parents and I could tell that they have strong bonds as brothers. I can only imagine what it is like having all five at home. The way they treat their mom and dad really shows what kind of men they are. They are respectful, loving, caring and have a great sense of humor.

Each brother did a great job in front of the camera. Cannot wait to share more!

This is my sweet baby girl. She is obviously not a baby anymore, but rather a beautiful young lady, but she will ALWAYS be MY baby. I am sure all parents can relate.

Lily is why I do what I do. Before I got pregnant, I was a video producer with some crazy hours. When I found out I was expecting, my husband and I looked into childcare options, but weren`t having much luck finding what we needed. My heart was telling me to be with my daughter. I didn`t want to miss out on anything. My plan was to freelance, but the hours honestly weren`t much different, so I decided to stay home with my baby girl.

I had always done photography on the side. Early on, I did photo journalism, but then switched over to doing it as a hobby once I started my career in video. I worked for a photographer for a short time in college who had her studio in her home and always thought that would be perfect for when I had my own family. So, that is exactly what I set my mind to once I made the decision to quit the video world. As a mom, it would allow me to set my own goals, hours and run things the way I wanted.

Owning my own business has been such a blessing! I get to be there for my daughter and family while feeding into my passion for photography. It gives me such freedom and makes my heart sing with every session I do. Love documenting important moments for my clients throughout their journey of life. Such an honor and something that I don`t take lightly.

Thank you Lily for leading me down this path and allowing me to do what I am truly passionate about. Getting pregnant with you was the push I needed to make my dreams a reality.

You know when people say that if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life? I can attest that is very true. It is what I hope for my daughter and all of you!
