This family’s fine art photography session was such a pleasure. They are beyond the sweetest family and their love just exudes through their images. You can tell that they adore each other and have such joy together. Such an honor to be asked back year after year to document their family and the connections they have for each other.
Mom always does such a great job with the family’s outfits for their portrait sessions. As you may have noticed, I adore a neutral color palette and this is such a great example of how to go about doing just that and why it works so well. Notice the different textures in the fabrics chosen and how everything coordinates lovely, but is not matchy matchy like a uniform. Not boring at all! Neutral color palettes really keeps attention on the subjects and the connections they have for each other. Nothing distracting to draw your eyes away. This color palette is also timeless and will work with all types of decor and home color schemes as the years go by. You won’t ever have to worry about outfits clashing with a new wall color or fabrics in your home. Your most cherished portraits will make the transition seamlessly.
