Playful lifestyle family photography in St. Louis.

This particular lifestyle family photography session was a lot of fun. It was a cold and windy day, so we headed to an area that I know blocks wind for a more comfortable setting. It worked out perfectly for this playful family! Their two year old is on the run these days and his parents are so great at making everything fun and just a big adventure. you can really tell how much there three adore each other and how strong their connections are. I first photographed this loving family a couple years ago when this lil’ man was just a baby learning to crawl. Boy, has he changed! He now runs, is super playful, is really into trains and is a great explorer. I loved watching him interact with his parents. He is super cuddly and sweet with him mom and he loves his dad’s playfulness and all the family tickle fights. What a fun beginning of life! So honored to have the opportunity to capture their family dynamic during their lifestyle family photography session.

What do you do when you want your furry family member in at least one family picture, but the location does not allow pets? You follow the rules and take portraits in the park and then at the end, you get a few images in the parking lot. The light was gorgeous coming through the trees here and their pup seemed to be so happy to be included!

Now, there are a lot of locations that allow pets, but if your heart is set on a place where they are not permitted, we can always find an option either at the beginning or the end of the session where we can document your important family member too!

What a beautiful Fall evening for family portraits. Love that trees are just starting to turn in color, but there is still plenty of green to go around.

Mom always does such a great job dressing her family and last night was no exception. One little sentimental touch - little brother is wearing the same sweater his big brother wore at their last photo session. Love how he fits into now and how it all comes full circle!

Fall in Athens can be absolutely magical!

These sweet sisters had the prettiest November portrait session at Founder`s Garden on UGA`s campus. The vibrant fall foliage was the perfect backdrop, while their soft pinks, delicate florals and cozy layers complemented the scenery beautifully.

Late October and early November are some of my favorite times for fall family photos in Athens, GA. Gorgeous colors, comfortable temperatures and beautiful memories to treasure for years to come.
