Winder, GA Fall Family Portrait Photography

Fall sessions are winding down and we are now getting into Winter sessions. This family portrait photography session took place in Winder, GA with some of the last bits of vibrant colors of the season. Don’t their outfits work so well with their surroundings?! Perfection!!!!!

So grateful for this family! I first photographed them for their son’s newborn session back when we all lived in St. Louis. Shortly after that session, their family, and mine, moved to Georgia a mere short distance apart. This has given me the great privilege to document their most important milestones through the years. So surreal to see this family grow and witness their children become the amazing people they are! Truly beautiful family inside and out. Mom this year asked for pretty Fall portraits and luckily we are in the midst of full on vibrant color here. Gotta love it when everything works together like this!

2021 is fully booked for family portrait photography, but plenty of availability in the new year. Love this area of the historic district of Jekyll Island. Pretty walkways, roads, buildings, trees and scenery. It is like taking a step back in time in many ways. I have been photographing my daughter in this exact location for the last few summers and it never disappoints.

What a beautiful way to spend part of summer break - studying, writing papers and taking quizzes while tucked away on Jekyll Island. Not a bad “classroom” at all.

She is heading into her sophomore year at GCSU, and this portrait felt like the perfect way to mark the season - relaxed, confident and surrounded by the timeless beauty of Jekyll Island’s historic district, with live oaks and Spanish moss framing the moment.
