The popular Heirloom Box is great when printing and storing your most prized photos and other small keepsakes. Each Heirloom box holds loose bordered 4 inch by 6 inch prints from your session with Yvonne Niemann Photography. There is also an extra compartment perfect for adding your own prints or other items to remind you of this time in your family’s lives. Great place to store your USB drive that contains your high resolution digital files too! When purchasing digital files, I always include vendor recommendations, print release and printing tips for best results.

All Heirloom Boxes are handmade by artisans and are covered in a beautiful bookbinding fabric. Ribbons inside the box makes it easy to lift up your photographic prints. Many of my clients have a collection of these boxes from each of their sessions to keep their favorite images archived in an easy and consistent way. Each year’s memories all in one box to enjoy now and for years to come.

Timing is everything when it comes to beach portrait sessions.

There’s a reason I plan my sessions for the edges of the day. Right before sunrise and just before sunset, the sun sits low on the horizon, wrapping everything in soft, golden light. It’s flattering, gentle on skin tones, and creates that dreamy glow you simply can’t replicate at noon. The wind calms, the beach feels peaceful, and the magic naturally unfolds.

This sweet mother-daughter moment was captured on Jekyll Island at Driftwood Beach just as the sun was rising — when the sky turns pastel and the reflections shimmer along the shoreline.

When you trust the light, you get images that feel timeless, effortless, and full of heart.
