St. Louis Fall Family Photographers Portraits

There are a lot of family photographers in the St. Louis area and so it is an honor when clients choose me for their portraiture needs. I have been photographing this family since their eldest son was still in his mom’s belly for her maternity portrait session. What a privilege to document their important milestones throughout the years.

It was also a great place on a windy, cold morning as the Muny shielded us a bit from the elements. Just a beautiful location!

Love how mom chose red as their pop of color. Even the kids’ wagon coordinated with their outfits. Good example of how to use a color to tie in everyone’s wardrobes.

Love this area of the historic district of Jekyll Island. Pretty walkways, roads, buildings, trees and scenery. It is like taking a step back in time in many ways. I have been photographing my daughter in this exact location for the last few summers and it never disappoints.

What a beautiful way to spend part of summer break - studying, writing papers and taking quizzes while tucked away on Jekyll Island. Not a bad “classroom” at all.

She is heading into her sophomore year at GCSU, and this portrait felt like the perfect way to mark the season - relaxed, confident and surrounded by the timeless beauty of Jekyll Island’s historic district, with live oaks and Spanish moss framing the moment.
