I love capturing lil’ ones in all their innocence and sweetness, but once in a while I like to mix things up and photograph other subjects and material. Keeps things fresh, creative and challenging while inspiring me as an artist. I met this beautiful lady quite a few years ago when I was still working in the video industry and we became instant friends. When she asked me to take some head shots of her, I was honored. Emilie Barta is a very talented actress and professional trade show presenter that I’m very proud of. She does amazing work and I know that her career will continue to flourish. There are a ton of images from this session that I love, but I wanted to share just two right now. The first one shows her as I know her with her warm smile and confidence that is so admirable. The second image is one that I love because it shows another side of her that not many people get to see. She would do this smile just before her big smile came out and I found it adorable, so I had to capture it. It’s that knowing smile that is so intriguing. Makes you want to know more about her and what she’s thinking. I’ll share more at a later date, but couldn’t resist bragging on my friend a bit.
