Over the weekend, while in St. Louis, I had the honor to photograph these four for their Fall outdoor family photoshoot in their neighborhood of Creve Coeur. What was supposed to be a rainy day, ended up being a beautiful sunny day, which was such a blessing for portrait sessions. It was unseasonably warm (hot) while I was in Missouri for commissioned portraits, but the leaves were beginning to change and the rain and winds we had while I was there resulted in failed leaves blanketing the ground in places like this.
This family is so much fun! I first photographed them when their son was a newborn. It is always neat to see how much the little ones have grown and changed at their photo sessions. Love their personalities. Super sweet, but full of energy and laughter. I thought it was funny how they thought it was gross when their parents showed affection towards each other and how the siblings “acted” like they don’t like touching each other, but then would give each other bear hugs.
Mom did a great job with the family outfits as usual. Burgundy, cream and blue scream Fall and looks so good in a wooded setting like this. Love how everyone coordinates with each other, but isn’t matchy matchy. Each person got to show their individual style and personality this way too.
