I have been photographing this family since their son was first born. It is such a privilege to document them year after year with my camera as I get to see them grow and mature as individuals and as a family. I loved their Fall natural family portraits from last year that took place in St. Louis. We held their session in this location in the past, but this time we were across the street from where we photographed them years ago to give them a completely different look and feel.
Such a stunning and sweet family! Mom always does a great job styling her family for their portraits. I love thee color palette she chose here with navy, green and cream. Perfect for the season, but also for their surroundings. The textures of their sweaters and mix of patterns really work well to bring in some interest without being distracting. Great example of what to wear for Fall natural family portraits.
This lil’ beauty has such a fun personality and adores her brother and family. You can see it in the way she plays and cuddles. She is growing into such a sweet and charismatic young lady. So neat to witness through my camera.
Her brother has always been super close to his parents and especially his sister. He is the main one who gets her to laugh and is the comforter too. He has really matured over the past year. Really coming into his own. Loves playing sports and wrestling with dad. Still mom’s boy who cuddles and shows much affection.
I am looking forward to photographing this family again next month when I am back in St. Louis for commissioned portrait sessions.
