St. Louis Children’s Photographer | Matted Luxe Album

Matted Luxe Albums are a favorite for both my clients and myself. Before I delivered this latest album to some dear clients of mine, I took a few pictures to show it off. This album features images from Gianna’s first birthday portrait session. I just love the way these albums showcase portraits – simple and classy. Each thick page displays a 5×7 print behind a textured matte. Just purely beautiful. This particular album holds 30 images, which is the most popular, but there is also a 20 image Matted Luxe Album option as well. The album shown below is covered in cafe leather, which is another favorite lately with my clients. I can understand why too. It’s a soft worn leather that will stand the test of time. There are many other luxe fabric cover options to choose from – all the way from linen to fine japanese silk and there’s even a vintage leather that is ruggedly beautiful! The Matted Luxe Album is the perfect heirloom art piece that can be passed down through the generations.

Happy 20th birthday to my sweet Lily Mae!

Twenty years ago today, I had no idea how completely my world was about to change. I still remember all the little details - the morning walk, making homemade cinnamon bread, the doctor’s appointment that unexpectedly turned into a hospital stay, the movie we watched while we waited for your arrival, the sweet nurses and doctors that helped welcome you into the world (thank you Mike for the epidural)…and then the moment they placed you on my chest and we met for the very first time.

I could not have asked for a better daughter. I am so incredibly proud of the woman you have become and love watching you find your own way in this world. I cannot wait to see where life takes you next.

No matter how grown you are, you will always be my baby girl. Happy 20th, Lily Mae. You are my whole world. 🤍
