Sitting Milestone Photo Session in Oconee County, GA

Yesterday, this little man came in with his big brother and mom for his sitting milestone photo session. His mom wanted images of him before his first tooth came in, which worked out perfectly! It happened to be a great time to get some images of his big brother who is about to turn four in a couple of weeks. Isn’t it great when big milestones happen around each other?!

This lil’ man is such a happy baby! Lots of smiles and giggles. I loved this serious look of him too. Just an in-between moment when things got silent and he could just be. I love moments like this!

He has such great skin coloring, rosy lips, big blue eyes and what looks to be strawberry blonde hair. Don’t you love the hair sticking up so stylishly on the top of his head?! Just adorable!!!!

He is wearing a Zara baby romper from the Yvonne Niemann Photography wardrobe closet. It fit him perfectly and I think the color really complements his skin tone.

Such an honor to photograph this little guy again! He sure has grown in the last six months!!!!

This is my sweet baby girl. She is obviously not a baby anymore, but rather a beautiful young lady, but she will ALWAYS be MY baby. I am sure all parents can relate.

Lily is why I do what I do. Before I got pregnant, I was a video producer with some crazy hours. When I found out I was expecting, my husband and I looked into childcare options, but weren`t having much luck finding what we needed. My heart was telling me to be with my daughter. I didn`t want to miss out on anything. My plan was to freelance, but the hours honestly weren`t much different, so I decided to stay home with my baby girl.

I had always done photography on the side. Early on, I did photo journalism, but then switched over to doing it as a hobby once I started my career in video. I worked for a photographer for a short time in college who had her studio in her home and always thought that would be perfect for when I had my own family. So, that is exactly what I set my mind to once I made the decision to quit the video world. As a mom, it would allow me to set my own goals, hours and run things the way I wanted.

Owning my own business has been such a blessing! I get to be there for my daughter and family while feeding into my passion for photography. It gives me such freedom and makes my heart sing with every session I do. Love documenting important moments for my clients throughout their journey of life. Such an honor and something that I don`t take lightly.

Thank you Lily for leading me down this path and allowing me to do what I am truly passionate about. Getting pregnant with you was the push I needed to make my dreams a reality.

You know when people say that if you do what you love, you never work a day in your life? I can attest that is very true. It is what I hope for my daughter and all of you!
