Fall is one of my favorite seasons for professional family photography in St. Louis, MO. The warm evening light, beautiful natural surroundings and beginning hints of autumn color create such a timeless setting for family portraits.
I’ll be returning to St. Louis October 23–26 for a limited number of fall portrait sessions. Friday, October 23 is already fully booked, as is Sunday morning, October 25, with limited availability remaining on the other days.
Choosing the Right Family Portrait Session
Both Simplicity Sessions and full Signature Sessions are available during my St. Louis dates.
Simplicity Sessions are perfect for families looking for a shorter portrait experience and a beautiful update of their family and children.
For those wanting a more complete collection, a Signature Session gives us additional time for the entire family as well as individual portraits, siblings, each parent with the children, couples portraits and the candid interactions that naturally happen along the way.
The family pictured here is a wonderful example of why I love creating variety during a portrait session. Of course, we create the photograph of everyone together, but I also want to document the relationships within the family – a mother with her daughter, a father with his son, siblings together and children simply being themselves.
Those smaller moments often become just as meaningful as the traditional family portrait.
