Oconee County High School Senior Portrait

This young man is gearing up to graduate at the end of this school year. He has lettered all four years for wrestling at Oconee County High School. Besides being a talented athlete, he is super smart, kind, thoughtful and determined. It is always such a joy photographing his family and it meant the world that I got the opportunity to document this extremely important milestone.

We did his senior portraits at his family’s home where we utilized many parts of their property. Gave us a lot of variety while being sentimental to him and his family. He wore his dad’s boots, which was a great touch and another meaningful touch. Great way to have his dad with him even though he could not be there in person.

Congrats E! You are going to go far and I cannot wait to see where the next stop in the journey of life takes you!

There’s a reason I plan my sessions for the edges of the day. Right before sunrise and just before sunset, the sun sits low on the horizon, wrapping everything in soft, golden light. It’s flattering, gentle on skin tones, and creates that dreamy glow you simply can’t replicate at noon. The wind calms, the beach feels peaceful, and the magic naturally unfolds.

This sweet mother-daughter moment was captured on Jekyll Island at Driftwood Beach just as the sun was rising — when the sky turns pastel and the reflections shimmer along the shoreline.

When you trust the light, you get images that feel timeless, effortless, and full of heart.
