Oconee County High School Senior Pictures

July 13, 2021

It was such an honor photographing this smart lady’s senior pictures before she graduated Oconee County High School. She chose downtown Athens, GA for the backdrop of her senior portraits, which was very fitting for her personality and the outfits she chose. Gave us a ton of variety too. The light was divine. LOVE light infused portraits and this area and night did not disappoint. An added bonus was we picked a week night so that it wasn’t overly busy!

Clean urban Oconee County High School senior pictures.

I came across this fountain and knew it would be perfect for not only her outfit, but also the fact that it is the school colors of Oconee County High School. It is always a good thing when you can use school colors within senior pictures.

Gahhhh! That LIGHT!!!! Such a dream.

Light infused senior pictures of Oconee County High School grad.

Miss L’s mom really wanted a portrait of her daughter in a nice white dress for senior pictures and this one was a great choice for this grad. We were able to find a place where she could get changed in privacy, which is always important.

The first time I photographed this young lady, she was just a sixth grader in middle school. Now she has graduated and is looking forward to attending college starting next month. Where has time gone? Such an honor capturing her senior pictures. She is a beauty inside and out and has a very bright future ahead of her. Congrats Miss L. I am very excited and proud of you.

If you are in need of senior pictures, contact Athens, GA photographers of Yvonne Niemann Photography. Sessions are fully customized to fit the style and personalities of every senior. Inquire for details and to get on the calendar. info@yvonneniemannphotography.com | 706.713.0676

Early Fall mornings gives beautiful light and sometimes works best with busy schedules of teenagers during this time of year.

Love how the light embraces her and how the hydrangeas add a painterly texture to the background.

A family portrait is important, but the relationships within the family are what make the collection complete.

That’s one of the reasons I love a Signature Session. With more time, we can photograph not only everyone together, but also siblings, each child, Mom with the kids, Dad with the kids, parents together and all the natural moments in between.

This early-November session in Oconee County is a perfect example of how a fuller gallery tells the story of a family so much more completely.

If you’re hoping for more than simply an updated family portrait this fall, a Signature Session may be the perfect fit.

One of my favorite Oconee County locations for family portraits - so much variety tucked into one beautiful little area. The tunnel of trees is gorgeous while everything is still green and again later in the season when the leaves turn their vibrant fall colors.

And with little ones, play is always part of the plan. Tossing them in the air, making them laugh, snuggling them close - those are often the moments that create the most genuine connection.

Because littles don’t stay little for long, and these are the moments you’ll want to remember.

There is something about early fall mornings...

The air is crisp but still comfortable, the temperatures are perfect for cozy layers, and that beautiful morning light gives everything such a soft, warm glow.

You don’t have to wait for peak fall color to create portraits that feel like the season.

Sometimes these quiet early fall days are the prettiest of all.

Mom belongs in the pictures, too.

You’re often the one capturing the everyday moments, but your children deserve photographs with you in them - the way they lean into you, laugh with you and fit beside you in this season of life.

And beautiful fall portraits don’t require vibrant autumn leaves. Early fall offers soft greens, warm golden tones and gorgeous light that photographs beautifully.

If updated family portraits are on your list this year, I’d love to help you preserve this season together.

Have you been to the store Bird and Brass lately? This artist, who owns the boutique, has updated offerings to fit in with the Autumn season. Such great treats, gifts, clothes, suede handbags, jewelry and of course her artwork! Head to the back and check out the fridge. There is surely something in there that will settle your cravings.

Such a joy photographing Erika`s branding. Her set up outside really showcases her artistic skills and gives an insight into her wonderful tastes. When you visit her store, make sure to say hello! She will make you feel right at home.
