Mother Baby Photoshoot in Watkinsville

I really enjoyed this mother baby photoshoot that I did for a little girl’s six month sitting milestone in Watkinsville! Treasure these moments. They certainly don’t last long. Don’t you just love the simple joys of childhood? Us parents will do anything for those smiles and laughs. Quite contagious too!

This adorable Southern baby girl is such a sweet heart. She is so laid back and happy! Lots of smiles and laughter. She certainly gets it from her family. She has an older brother and sister who absolutely adore her. Big sister came with her mom to assist. She did a great job too! She played peek a boo behind me and made silly faces that lit up her baby sister’s face! So glad that mom decided to join in for a few images as well. Love the interaction between mother and daughter. There is nothing like the bond between a child and their mother! Can’t you just feel the love, fun and warmth here?

Perfect example of what to wear for your own mother baby photoshoot this summer. The little dress this little six month beauty is wearing is from the Yvonne Niemann Photography studio wardrobe closet. It can be adjusted with the shoulder ties. It is in the lightest shade of mint green and has beautiful beading and a tool skirt. Very fitting for a little girl’s sitting milestone photo session. I love that her mom wore a dress, which shows off her femininity and works beautifully with her daughter’s outfit. Her earrings really complete the outfit and tells a story about her style.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
