Such a classic beauty! Her mom wanted some updated portraits of her youngest girl just in time for her birthday. Schedules can be hectic, even in the Summer, but we were able to do a quick petite session over their lunchtime. Worked out wonderfully!
I can hold sessions pretty much any time of day. I know how to handle light and pick locations that work to my advantage. Of course the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset are those famous magic light preferred times, but if those times don’t work for your little ones, don’t worry! I’ve got you covered. Happy children and families is what is most important. The images shown here were taken at high noon. Still quite magical in my opinion!
This little Southern lady is wearing a flower girl’s dress she recently wore at a wedding. The pearl bracelet was a special gift from her parents, which I made sure to highlight. She refused to wear shoes, but that was fine with me! I love those little toes as does her mom. Sometimes you have to pick your battles and shoes were not high on the priority list that day. Miss L is always such a joy to photograph and it is always a privilege to capture her during her important milestones. Love her spunk, independence and her inquisitiveness. Such a beauty inside and out!
