Love this little lady. This year’s Christmas child portrait session with her and her parents was so much fun. It took place at a tree farm down the street in Bishop, GA. The weather and sun was just perfect. Look how magical this scene is!

Mom brought fun irridescent confetti to mimic the look of snow. We placed a blanket under her for easy clean up and to make sure we left the location as we found it. This Southern belle really enjoyed pretending to blow snow at the camera as well as exploring the area among all the trees. Her parents and her even got to decorate one of the big trees using a special family heirloom ladder. Cannot wait to share that one after their cards go out.

Being in the south, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I LOVE snow.

This picture was taken in a blizzard down the street from where I lived in St. Louis. Can you believe this was in March, right before Easter?! This is NOT a black and white picture. It just looks like it due to the snow conditions. We already had leaves on the trees, which made the snow coverage that much more magical too.

Now, I do not miss the dirty, slushy mess that comes after a snow like this, but I do miss sledding, making forts and snowmen, and having snowball fights.

Hope everyone fares well with the winter storm this weekend.

I know we have all heard about the winter storm that is heading our way this weekend. Instead of thinking of ice, I am choosing to think about the warm beach!
